Green smoothies can be delicious and don't have to taste like 'liquid salad' as my husband likes to call them. Adding greens to your smoothie is a great way to increase your green intake. Greens help strengthen the blood and respiratory system. Green Smoothie - Beginners Version Recipe: Ingredients: 1 frozen banana 1/2 avocado 1/2 cup almond milk Pinch of vanilla powder (or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract) 1 tsp maca powder 1 tsp peanut butter handful of spinach Toppings (optional)- add your favourite toppings- nuts, raspberries, coconut flakes, granola...
