I am quite sure that 99% of my readers have experienced what I like to call the ‘Post winter/weekend/holiday drama’ at least once in their lives. It’s when you wake up ‘the morning after’ (whether you stepped on the scale or not) and feel bad recalling everything you've eaten. Maybe you’ve gained some extra weight or you simply feel heavy, lethargic and unhealthy. This is an open invitation for the little voice in our head to jump in and play it’s little dr...

“I don’t have enough willpower”, “I can’t find the motivation”, “Sometimes I feel I’m just too lazy”, I don’t have the discipline”. These are few examples of what some of my clients might say when we’ve just started working together.

They very quickly discover that they themselves have been standing in their way the whole time.

When approaching change and transformation from a place of PUSHING or DEPRIVING you’re most probably going to face all the block...

I love having few go-to dishes I cook whenever I don't have much time to cook, I don't feel creative or it's the end of the week and I want to finish up all the veggies in the fridge. My winter pot is one of those quick, simple and flexible in terms of ingredients (hence you can skip some ingredients or add some of your own).

 Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 diced onion

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup diced butternut squash

1 diced zucchini

1 big carrot, diced

2 diced t...

Healthy fats are essential for a healthy balanced diet. One of my favourite healthy fats is AVOCADO. Avocado is not only an energy booster but also a brain booster, as it improves concentration and memory.

It has plenty of essential fatty acids, and loaded with vitamins A, E ,K ,B and C, plus- plenty of fiber too!

Combined with spinach and banana this smoothie is nutrient dense and will provide your body with long lasting energy. Bananas and spinach are both...

That's a question I keep getting.

The answer is pretty straight forward - BOTH.

But, and there is a BUT...:

  • Not all juices & smoothies are made equal, meaning - they are not all  necessarily healthy (even if they are green).

  • There is a time and place for a smoothie and there is a time and a place for a juice

So let's break it down.

Smoothies are made from fresh fruits and vegetables. As opposed to juicing, with blending the fiber remains in tact with...

What is Juicing? Juicing involves the extraction of juice from fresh fruits and vegetables to create a drinkable cocktai...

Most of us humans are taught to equate food with success, we view food as a reward from a very young age. So each time we exercise or managed to deliver a project on time we indulge ourselves in a big scoop of ice cream cause we feel like we've earned it. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with eating ice cream every now and then, as long as its a conscious decision, as long as we don't feed this mechanism of rewarding ourselves with food.

On the ot...

A few months ago I started experiencing acid reflux symptoms. My doctor prescribed me with proton pump inhibitors, which I had no intentions taking, not at least till I tried treating it naturally. It just didn't make sense to me to take a medicine that is used to treat people who have symptoms related to poor lifestyle habits, such as smoking, eating too much processed food, too much coffee, alcohol, sugar, stress... You get the point - non of which I fit...
