Nutty Energising Bites

I love discovering new healthy snacks that get me through the afternoon and are nice treats next to my chai or great as a pre/post workout boost. They are also simple to make (no baking required!) and you might already have all the ingredients in your pantry!

Nutty Energy Balls:

(makes about 20 balls)

Ingredients:

10 (pitted) medjool dates

½ cup almonds

½ cup walnuts

1 cup rolled oats

A pinch of seasalt

1 tablespoon cacao

1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1 teaspoon vanilla powder

2 tablespoons coconut oil

Directions:

  1. Place the nuts and oats into a food processor till they form a chunky flour

  2. Add the pitted dates and coconut oil

  3. Add the remaining ingredients- seasalt, cacao, cinnamon, vanilla and blend again until you get a sticky mix

  4. Roll the mixture into balls and place in the fridge for about 20 minutes
