My Go-To Savory Snack
I love finding healthy salty snack alternatives that keep my energy levels steady and keep me satisfied till my next meal. Having protein as a snack is a great idea! Protein not only is an essential nutrient our body needs to function smoothly, it's also a great jump-start to our metabolism.
Roasted Chickpeas Recipe:
1 cup soaked then cooked chickpeas
1/2 tsp olive oil
Spices - paprika, smoked paprika, garlic powder, chilli flakes, salt & pepper
1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix them together until the chickpeas are well coated.
2. Spread the chickpeas on a large baking sheet
3. Place the baking dish in the oven at 220 degrees celsius for 30 - 40 min (stirring every 10 min)
4. Let the chickpeas cool down in the baking sheet before placing them in a container
